On 2/14/2023 at approximately 8:00 PM the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to 700 block of Maryland Avenue for a violation of a protective order. Upon arrival officers contacted Bret Bonner. Officers learned that Bonner was served a Final Protective Order and that a protected party was at the residence. Bonner was placed under arrest and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center. Bonner received a hearing before a District Court Commissioner and was released on his own recognizance.
