Saturday, April 28th is the date set for what is being called the first “Walk a Mile for Ol’ Greenway!” Fun Run/Walk. The committee of the Greenway Avenue Stadium Capital Improvement Fund has organized the event to kick off fundraising activities to be used for stadium capital improvement projects such as the FieldTurf playing surface and the track. Former Fort Hill High School football standouts Mark Manges and Greg Hare are committee members and joined WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” Thursday to discuss the event.
