Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery will not be having its Memorial Day Program this year due to construction and expansion leaving little room for parking.
The cemetery will be open Sunday until 5 PM and Monday until 8 PM for visitors.
Superintendent Mike Gregory says that, at this point, they still hope to have the Veterans Day Program in November.
WCBC will broadcast a Memorial Day Program that will air at noon on Sunday and Monday on AM 1270, and on Monday at noon on Classic Hits 107.
Our program will include musical tributes to our fallen soldiers and remarks from the 40th President Ronald Reagan, followed by a roundtable discussion honoring local hero Don Kinton who was killed in Vietnam.
