On Sunday’s “Meet the Press”, Maryland Governor Wes Moore seemed more adamant than usual regarding the possibility of running for president in 2028. Moore initially indicated his plans to run again for governor next year. He added that he plans to serve a full, four year term. Host Kristen Welker asked repeatedly about a presidential bid and the governor was insistent that he planned to stay as the state's chief executive.
