Garrett County Commissioners appointed Dr. Jane Wildesen to the at-large seat on the County’s Board of Education, filling the vacancy created by Matthew Trezise’s resignation. Dr. Wildesen has more than 35 years with Garrett County Public Schools, most recently retiring as Director of Human Resources and Employee Relations. She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Frostburg State University, and a Masters in Special Education from West Virginia University.
