Wes Heinz of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad discussed the $60,000 Labor Grant awarded by the Maryland Department of Labor. Approached by the Department that authored the “Jobs That Build Employers” Fund, Heinz had a narrow criteria which was applied to specific employees that worked on the infrastructure of the railroad and mostly to help with education and skill sets.
