On Fridayt the Cumberland City Police Department served a Criminal Summons on Kelsi Sue May. On 10/17/2021 at approximately 2:00 AM an officer was administering field sobriety tests on a subject when May began yelling at the officer. May was not involved in the traffic stop at all and was only a passerby. The officer had to divert their attention multiple times to May and advise her not to interfere with the stop. The operator was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and then officer was able to get May’s information. The officer applied for charges through the District Court Commissioner and a Criminal Summons was issued. May signed for her copies of the Summons and is free pending trial.
