Through Monday, August 4, the state of West Virginia will be having its annual tax free weekend. The event reduces back to school costs for West Virginia families. There is no limit on how many items can be purchased as long as each item falls beneath price restrictions. Governor Patrick Morrisey was in Bridgeport to talk about the event…
“This is an incredible opportunity for young families to get out and go shopping and avail yourselves of tax-free shopping in a lot of different areas. Think school supplies, think clothes, think sporting equipment. Think laptops – think all these different things where you might be able to save up to seven cents on the dollar.”
