On Tuesday February 6th, 2024 at approximately 10:39pm officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 800 block of Yale Street for a reported domestic assault in progress. Upon officer’s arrival they contacted Sarah Kyle, and the victim. Officers observed obvious evidence of assault to the victim, and learned that Kyle and the victim were engaged in an argument that turned physical. After interviewing the victim, Sarah, and a witness, it was learned that Sarah had scratched the victim, threw several objects at them, and began destroying property inside the residence. Sarah was placed under arrest and taken before a District Court Commissioner where she was released on her own recognizance.
Arrest: Sarah Marie Kyle, age 29, Cumberland Maryland
Charges: Assault Second Degree, Destruction of Property.
