On 06/12/2012 at approximately 1900 hours, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack and Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to BP Gas Station at 10410 Hillcrest Drive in an attempt to locate a subject wanted on several warrants. An anonymous tip was received from a citizen who saw the subject listed as one of Cumberland’s Most Wanted in the Monday edition of the Cumberland Times News. After extensive surveillance conducted by Troopers and Deputies, the suspect, Brian Russell Price, was observed by officers and taken into custody without incident.
A search of Price resulted in the discovery of suspected CDS and paraphernalia. Price was in the company of Tammy Sue Shoemaker who was found to also have CDS and paraphernalia in her possession. Both suspects were charged accordingly and taken before a district court commissioner.
