Janitor on Leave After Inappropriate Conduct

February 6th, 2012 by WCBC Radio

A janitor at Allegany High School has been placed on suspension for alledged inappropriate sexual conduct with a teenaged female student. Sources have confirmed to WCBC News that Allegany County School Superintendent David Cox is investigating the allegations- but until then, the janitor will not be permitted in the school. This story comes at the same time that two similar incidents at other Maryland schools are being investigated. A track and basketball coach in Montgomery County was arrested yesterday and charged with two counts of sex offense. 47 year old Scott Spear of Rockville allegedly had sex with a 16 year old girl who was on his team. And on the Eastern Shore, a Wicomico High School football coach is under investigation for sex offense and possible drug possession charges, and has been put on administrative leave. So far no criminal charges have been filed against 44 year old David Nettles.
