In response to the threatening message and subsequent early dismissal at Allegany High School today, Wednesday, March 18, 2015, and as an added precaution, the school will have additional law enforcement officers on site and controlled entry into the school building for the next two days. All of Allegany's after school and evening activities will also be cancelled for the next two days – Thursday, March 19th and Friday, March 20th. The school will be scanned this evening by K-9 units from the Maryland State Police Department. School administrators will continue to work cooperatively with law enforcement on this investigation.
