City Solicitor Discusses Current Thoughts On Green Street Railroad Bridge

April 30th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

While there has been much conversation over the future of three vehicular bridges over CSX tracks on Cumberland’s west side, there is a fourth bridge that is in the mix.

City solicitor Michael Cohen called into WCBC’s Dave Norman program Monday to update the current thoughts concerning the railroad bridge over Greene Street, which seems to be hit by a high profile truck every couple of months…

If Greene Street cannot be lowered, Cohen says another option would be to set up a warning system that would alert trucks that they won’t make it under the bridge.
