On Saturday, officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to the area of Lee Street and Valley Street near the Great Allegany Passage for an indecent exposure complaint.
Upon the officers arrival they made contact with the witness and suspect, Angel Samuel Pena Gomez. Officers learned from the witness that he was walking near the bike path when he observed Gomez pull down his pants exposing his genitals. Gomez directed his actions toward the witness which prompted a call to police.
Gomez was arrested at the scene and charged with Disorderly Conduct. Gomez was issued a criminal citation and released pending his trial date in District Court.
