The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office today issued the following news release:
It is with great pleasure we announce the addition of the Office of the State Fire Marshal Blog Site to promote easy access to the services we provide. This site will extend our reach into the communities we serve and assist our customers and citizens alike. The current OSFM website can be accessed from the blog site as well.
Our partnering agencies will find the buttons at the top of the page to be a much less cumbersome and more secure way to share incident information. This will then allow for real-time capturing of statistical data. The ability to collect real-time data will provide early notification of specific issues to be addressed in a prompt manner and help to prevent future incidents and injuries. The scroll near the top of the page will constantly display an updated flow of Notice of Investigations and News Releases as they are produced.
