Oakland Fire Under Investigation

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's office is investigation a Sunday morning blaze that consumed a log office building north of Oakland.

The loss has been estimated at $700,000, with the damage equally split between contents and the structure.

Injuries or Deaths:  One firefighter received hand injury and was transported to Garrett Memorial Hospital.  One firefighter treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
