A tractor trailer truck rolled onto its side Tuesday afternoon at around 3:30 PM as it reached the bottom of Backbone Mountain on Maryland Route 135.
Unconfirmed reports indicate the driver was not seriously injured in the accident, which occured just east of the wall where crosses mark fatalities that have occurred.
The Maryland Department of Transportation's State Highway Administration reports single lane traffic as crews tend to the rollover.
The mishap is under investigation.
