Today and Saturday- Cumberland presents Weinerfest II. The event was launched last year to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Curtis’ Coney Island in downtown Cumberland- and proved to be a hit with hundreds packing the downtown area for the festival. Dave Love with the Downtown Development Commission says Saturday will feature a new attraction- carnival rides for all ages.

Can hoagie fest be far behind? Better still how about Sheetz-fest? A Joe’s Viaduct fest (after all Joe sold the first pizza in Cumberland)? The obvious no brainer choice will be ‘Bridge(less) Fest.”
