Emergency room vs. urgent care facilities—where should you go with a weekend illness? Dr. Robert Flint of the Western Maryland Health System says that often it is simpler to not use the hospital emergency room.
Dr. Flint added that chest pain, shortness of breath, and major trauma cases require the emergency room.
