West Virginia Delegate Sharon Malcolm. 72, who represented House District 39, Northern Kanawha County, has passed away according to her campaign staff.
Malcolm was appointed to replace Delegate Ronald Walters in March 2018 who had resigned a few weeks prior. She was then elected to the seat in November 2018.
Arrangements are currently pending with Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home in Charleston.
