Allegany College of Maryland recently held their second annual “Allegany Gives” event, a day for individuals to show support for the college through donations to the college or specific programs. “We were able to raise over $50,000 with over 400 individual donors supporting the day. The top fund for the year was for our scholarship. That was about a third of the donations.”
