On Saturday afternoon a new piece of rolling history arrived into Cumberland courtesy of CSX Transportation. The blue and gray Baltimore and Ohio office car, number 905 has carried numerous names throughout its years and will be added to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad rolling stock. Wes Heintz, Executive Director of the railroad says that they are focusing on railroads that help make Cumberland and the B&O Railroad is one of them… 

    

"This car is spectacular. The entire interior is mahogany and it has a kitchen, it can sleep about 10 people and then it's got a beautiful patio or observation platform on the back. She is going to be a real jewel not just for Western Maryland Scenic but for the community to enjoy and we look forward to being able to share it with everybody."
