A familiar face is once again the mayor of the Town of Lonaconing. Sworn in for another term, Jack Coburn has served in the office every term since 2011 plus several terms in previous years. WCBC asked Mayor Coburn what it is that keeps him wanting to hold the office time and again…

   

“I live here; I was born and raised here. I have businesses; I’m planted here and would just like to see it grow. We don’t want to grow too much, we want to stay focused on hometown and small-town, but we need to stay inundated with what’s going on, and we do that.”
