On July 12th, 2025 at approximately 11:52 a.m., officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 400 block of Columbia Street for the report of an assault. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim and were advised that Phillip William Lindner had assaulted them. The officers were able to observe visible signs of injury which were consistent with the victim's statement. As a result, Lindner was placed under arrest and transported to District Court for a bail review. Lindner was then released on an unsecured bond of $1,500.
