Maryland’s current District 1-A Delegate, Jim Hinebaugh, has announced he will not be seeking another term in Annapolis.  One candidate seeking to fill his seat is Dan Duggan of Swanton.  Recently, he attended the Frostburg Mayor and Council meeting where he introduced himself and gave some information on his background in law enforcement and the beginning of his campaign…

   

“I’m a retired police officer. I’m also retired from the Marine Corps Reserves – I did twenty years with them. My wife and I, Susan, we have four children. I’ve been in Garrett County about 40 years and I’m pretty well known there. I am virtually unknown in Allegany County. So, I’m making my way around to introduce myself and to really just to listen and learn.”
