The City of Cumberland has become aware of fraudulent Planning and Zoning invoices being emailed to clients. Invoices state “WIRE TRANSERS ONLY” and are sent from email address: planning.cumberlandcountyp.gov@usa.com. The invoices are not from the City of Cumberland. Emails from City of Cumberland staff will end in “@cumberlandmd.gov”. Recipients should not click on any links within the message or transfer any funds. Recipients are asked to delete the message and invoice.
