Janett Harris, 81, the wife of the late WCBC News Director Charlie Harris, died on January 1st at Effingham Care and Rehabilitation in Springfield, Georgia.  Jan was a longtime employee of the Allegany County Board of Education and was active in county, state and national education associations. She and Charlie volunteered their time at the Rocky Gap Campground for many years. She was active in girl scouts as well. Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home on February 14th from 10am till Noon with a memorial service to follow.
