On Sunday, September 28, 2025, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to Pershing Street for a disturbance. Officers arrived and observed a large crowd gathered in the street. Police located a male, later identified as Bryce Patton, causing the disturbance. Patton refused to listen to officers’ orders. Officers then observed Patton commit an assault. When officers attempted to arrest Patton, he resisted and pushed an officer. After a brief struggle, officers were able to take Patton into custody. Patton was transported to Central Booking and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. At the conclusion, Patton posted a $2,500 unsecured personal bond.
