When Kingspan purchased the former Hunter Douglas building last year, Allegany Economic Development agreed to oversee construction to connect site with the CSX Main Line. County economic development director Jeff Barclay says the rail plans are progressing and Kingspan has a contractor on site, making building modifications for the new roofing and waterproofing production facility…

 

“We as the county are heading up the rail – there’s a rail spur that needs to be built in to the site. We’re at 30% drawings with the contractor, with the engineer. And they’re going to be submitted to CSX for approval.”
