The Salvation Army of Cumberland is looking for individuals willing to spread holiday cheer as bell ringers in both the Keyser and Cumberland areas.  Becky McClarran of the Downtown Cumberland Business Association says she would welcome bell ringers in the downtown area.  Lieutenant Risa Robinson says the money remains in the area in which it is collected, and no training is needed to volunteer as a Salvation Army bell ringer…

 

“There’s not a training program.  You just sign up and then we meet you at the spot and you just stand and you ring and you say, ‘Hello!’ and you greet people for the timeframe that you sign up for.”
