On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 100 block of South Street for a reported assault. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who reported being assaulted by Brenden Hunter Bolinsky. The victim also stated that Bolinsky had damaged two computer monitors during the incident. Officers observed injuries consistent with the victim’s statement and subsequently placed Bolinsky under arrest. He was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center for an initial appearance, where he was later released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.
Arrest: Brenden Hunter Bolinsky , Age 26, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charges: Assault 2nd Degree, Malicious Destruction of Property x 2
