Allegany County commission approved two supplemental assistant grants for upgrades to the Flintstone and Old Town wastewater treatment plants during Thursday meeting. The Maryland Department of Environment is providing 1.5 million dollars well $375,000 will come from the Comprehensive Flood Management Grant for each facility. That's a total of 3,750,000 for wastewater plant upgrades. Adam Patterson, Director of Public Works.
