On November 3, 2025, the Allegany County Sheriff's Office received information from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office concerning an active arrest warrant for Mr. Deadrick. This warrant was issued following his arrest by an Allegany County Deputy on October 25, 2025, for possession of controlled dangerous substances, which resulted in a violation of probation warrant. The original conviction leading to the probation was for a homicide that occurred in Montgomery County, MD, in 1990.

 

Due to Mr. Deadrick's violent history and documented threats against law enforcement, the Sheriff's Special Operation Response Team (S.O.R.T) was deployed to locate and apprehend him.

 

On November 4, 2025, at approximately 7:00 AM, S.O.R.T, assisted by the Allegany County Narcotics Task Force, the Maryland State Police, and Trooper 5 (MSP), located Mr. Deadrick. Following a brief pursuit, he was taken into custody and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, where he awaits transfer to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
