A fire on Beall School Road in Frostburg remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal. Firefighters responded at approximately 439am Monday to the fire involving a single-story, single-family residence. Firefighters took 2½ hours to control the blaze. Smoke alarms alerted the family to the fire, allowing them to escape without injury. The family is receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.
