On 09/11/2023 at approximately 2:00 PM an officer from the Cumberland City Police initiated a traffic stop on West Industrial Boulevard. During the stop the officer made contact with the operator Alexis Yoak. Yoak was found to have an active Arrest Warrant from Mineral County West Virginia which was extraditable. Yoak was placed under arrest and a Cumberland City Canine was requested to the scene. The canine alerted on the vehicle and a probable cause search was conducted. Officers located suspected crack cocaine and paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. Yoak was issued two criminal citations and then transported to the Allegany County Detention Center. Yoak was held without bond pending extradition to West Virginia.
