Virginia is seeking to make cocktails-to-go a permanent menu choice in the state. Picking up drinks to go from restaurants, breweries, and wineries was made legal during the Covid pandemic and was set to expire on July 1. Both the state and senate have passed bills making the to-go drinks permanently legal, saying it will help the restaurant industry to continue its recovery from pandemic closures.
