For nearly 90 minutes Thursday afternoon, the Allegany County Commissioners discussed the county’s legislative priorities with the District One Delegation, and it was a lengthy wish list. It’s a session that is held annually just about six weeks prior to the start of the Maryland General Assembly session. The commissioners once again asked for some assistance, specifically from State Highway, to address what has become a dangerous stretch of roadway- Route 51 near PPG Road and Mexico Farms.
