The Allegany County Commissioners made it official Thursday- voting unanimously to approve the appointment of Brandon Butler as the new county administrator. Butler, 34, will continue his current job with the Maryland Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation until March 1st- at which time he will assume the role of county administrator- following David Eberly who will be retiring.
