On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, the Cumberland Police Department served a Frederick County District Court bench warrant on Heather Sager. The warrant was issued as the result of Sager failing to appear for court on March 7, 2017. She was originally charged with CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana, Possess Contraband-Place of Confinement, CDS Admin Equip Poss/Dist. Sager was arrested and transported to Central Booking. She was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $1,000 percentage bond.
