On Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police responded to 400 block of N Centre St for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival on scene, officers located a male subject matching the description given by the caller. When officers made contact with the subject, he became irate and began yelling at officers. The subject was ordered multiple times to cease his disruptive behavior but he refused to comply. As a result, Mark Jonathon Tallman, 54, of Cumberland MD, was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. He was issued three Criminal Citations and released, pending trial in District Court.
