While police were securing the handgun, they learned that England had an active arrest warrant through Bedford County, Pennsylvania for CDS Paraphernalia charges.  England was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing.  Officers discovered that England is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to previous qualifying crimes.  A fugitive warrant was completed on England.  He was transported to Central Booking and later seen by a District Court Commissioner.  England was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.  The fugitive warrant was used as a detainer pending England’s extradition to Pennsylvania.
