On 02/23/2023 at approximately 6:30 PM the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Glenn Street for an assault. Upon arrival officers spoke to the victim and learned they were assaulted by Brandon Barnard. Officers observed visible injuries on the victim consistent with the assault. Barnard was placed under arrest without issue. Barnard was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center. At the time of this writing Barnard is awaiting his initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

Charge – Assault 2nd Degree
