Governor Larry Hogan today announced the appointment of Paul D. Corderman to the Maryland General Assembly. The governor appointed Corderman to the House of Delegates following the recommendation from the Washington County Republican Central Committee. Corderman will replace former Delegate Brett Wilson, who was recently appointed by the governor to the Circuit Court for Washington County.

“Paul has served his constituents well as a councilman for the City of Hagerstown,” said Governor Hogan. “I am confident he will continue to work hard for the people of his district as a member of the General Assembly.”

Corderman will represent District 2B, serving Washington County. He is currently serving in his first term as a councilman for the City of Hagerstown. He has been on the Main Street Design Committee for Hagerstown, and is a lifelong resident of the county. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.
