BENCH WARRANT SERVED On Wednesday, November 29, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served a Circuit Court bench warrant on Raymond Washington III. The bench warrant was issued as a result of a grand jury indictment for CDS Possession with the Intent to Distribute. Washington was arrested and processed. He was held at the Allegany County Detention Center without bail.

ARRESTED: Raymond Desales Washington III AGE: 34 Cumberland, MD CDS ARREST On Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at approximately 9:30 AM, an officer from the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on E. Third Street at Virginia Avenue. The operator was identified as Landon Vanmeter. Further investigation revealed that Vanmeter was in possession of CDS: suspected Suboxone and Subutex contained in a wrapper. Vanmeter was placed under arrest and transported to the police station. Vanmeter was taken before the District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing and was released on his personal recognizance.

ARRESTED: Landon Scott Vanmeter AGE: 26 Ridgeley, WV CHARGES: CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana (x2), CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia, Driving Uninsured, other non-serious traffic related charges

DWI/DUI, CDS ARREST On Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at approximately 1:00 PM, an officer from the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Valley Street at Henderson Avenue. The operator was identified as Scott Winebrenner. A search of the vehicle was conducted resulting in officers locating suspected crack cocaine, Alprazolam pills, and CDS paraphernalia. Winebrenner was placed under arrest and transported to the police station. At the station, Winebrenner consented to take field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, the officer elected to charge Winebrenner with DWI/DUI related offenses. It was also discovered that Winebrenner was driving on a suspended license. Winebrenner was taken before the District Court Commissioner where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $8,500 bond.
