Singer Suzy Nash has a new song out that many will think is about the town of Cumberland.  “Heartbeat of A Small Town” will be available tonight at midnight online on streaming services, along with a video that was shot entirely in the Cumberland area by her husband, Al Moskowitz. Moskowitz said they had access to a hit maker’s catalog to choose songs from for the new album…

“All of the songs that we recorded in this last session in the summer of ’23 were from Reba McIntyre’s catalog. You know, when you’re a person like Reba McIntyre, you got all those hits, you get songwriters sending you their best stuff all the time, they send literally thousands of songs, she can only do dozens.”

Nash hopes “Heartbeat of A Small Town” hits a chord with local listeners…

“So I want to remind people about small town America and hopefully they’re inspired and it brings back the memories. Well, you guys are still living in it, but for those of us who have experienced other things; it will bring back the memory of growing up in small-town America.”
