One Held, Two Released After Bedford Street Warrant Service

On December 30th, 2017 the Cumberland City Police served arrest warrants on Jacob Patrick Snyder and David Joseph Snyder.  The warrants were issued when applications were made to the District Court for an incident that took place back on December 12th, 2017, when the Snyder’s are alleged to have beaten a male at 160 Bedford Street.  The victim had to be transported to the Western Maryland Medical Treatment for injuries received as a result of the assault.  

On December 30th, when officers went to 160 Bedford Street to serve the warrants, David Snyder fled on foot and was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.  Hadley Star Jenkins was also arrested and charged with obstructing and hindering and disturbing the peace for her part in interfering with officers while trying apprehend Jacob and David Snyder.   All were taken before the District Court Commissioner for bond reviews.   Jacob Snyder and Hadley Jenkins were released on their own personal recognizance.  David Snyder was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.

David Joseph Snyder, age; 28, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charges:  Assault 2nd, disturbing the peace, conspiracy to assault, obstructing and hindering, and CDS possession not marihuana.
Held without bond.

Jacob Patrick Snyder, age; 18, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charges:  Assault 2nd, conspiracy to assault, disturbing the peace.
Released PR.

Hadley Star Jenkins, age; 20, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charges:  Disturbing the peace, and obstructing and hindering.
Released PR.
