Kenya Campbell with AFT says the feds went too far…     “The way that the letter was written, it was very arbitrary, in that the directive from Trump’s Department of Education was an unlawful overreach that basically threatened the education of all Maryland students.”

Maryland Governor Wes Moore told Face the Nation this week that all options are on the table when it comes to re-drawing the state’s congressional seats. He said he wants to add a measure of fairness in elections…     “I want to make sure that we have fair lines and fair seats. It doesn’t provide reliable,…

They have a burn permit.” The county mulch site remains closed as it is full at this time. The…

Moody’s Says Maryland Is High Risk

As if the state of Maryland needed more bad financial news, the chief economist for Moody’s Analytics says the state is at a high risk for entering a recession. Mark Zandi says Maryland, DC, Virginia, and Delaware are all in the same category, showing vulnerabilities to recession, making the region stand out as especially weak.  “The key here is jobs. Of course, with the recent data, we see job growth has come to a virtual standstill. And I don’t see any reason why we’ll see any pick up here any time soon. If we start getting some negative job numbers…
