Hogan responds to 300th murder in Baltimore
Baltimore has officially recorded its 300th homicide for 2022 after city police upgraded the classification of an April shooting. Officials said a 24-year-old man who was shot on April 12 in northeast Baltimore died Monday. No arrests have been made. Md. public colleges see enrollment declines, but there is some good news
Enrollment at Maryland’s public colleges and universities continued to decline again this fall. WTOP reports in fall 2021, there were nearly 165,000 students enrolled throughout the state. This year, there are 163,200 students enrolled, about a 1% drop, though it is a number that is about 1,300 higher than had been originally expected. Maryland Department of Health launches RSV data dashboard
The Department of Health has launched a health dashboard to keep track of respiratory syncytial virus cases. The RSV dashboard is similar to the COVID-19 dashboard that was launched during the pandemic. The dashboard will be updated every Thursday. Officials recommend residents get what they call a "flooster."
