West Virginia Governor hosted a summit meeting with lawmakers yesterday afternoon, trying to come to an agreement on cutting the state income tax with the goal of eventually eliminating it. There are three different plans in various stages of development, with only a week to go before the session ends next Monday, raising the possibility of a special session to deal with the issue.

Hogan Expands Vaccine Eligibility to All Residents 16 and Older
Maryland Governor Larry Hogan Monday announced the state’s mass vaccination sites will start vaccinating all residents against COVID-19 immediately.. Mass vaccination sites in Maryland are also implementing “no appointment necessary” lanes for vaccination, including the Hagerstown Premium Outlets location. Health officials stress, however, that the best way to be sure you can get a vaccination is to preregister at covidvax.maryland.gov or by calling 1-855-MD-GOVAX.
