The handling and administration of the Senator George Edwards Fund was a topic covered by Cumberland Mayor Ray Morriss recently on the Dave Norman show.
A caller inquired where the money was coming from to pay an Executive Director for the fund. While normally funds for salaries would come from the fund itself, the Edwards fund is going to be using interest the fund is earning to pay the salary, leaving more monies for actual project usage.
